How do we conduct scuba diving in Havelock?

Scuba diving is a recreational watersport and requires a mandatory training session to join the activity. Training is helpful to learn and practice multiple skills necessary for diving. We make you comfortable with underwater diving conditions and make you practice hand signals useful for underwater communication.

During training, you get to learn the following skills

• Mask clearing
• Release underwater ear pressure
• How to use a scuba regulator for smooth breathing
• Important underwater hand signals

Scuba dive training is conducted at Govind Nagar beach at chest-level waters. The training may vary from 30 to 60 minutes depending on learning skills. After training, we take you to the recommended dive sites for scuba boat diving. You will make a backroll entry into the water from the boat, one diver will be already in the water to hold you after the backroll. The divemaster will hold you and descend slowly underwater.

During the dive, you will see multiple groups of colorful fish, beautiful coral reefs, turtles, octopuses, sea cucumbers, and various other sea animals. One additional divemaster will be there to capture your photos and videos. Your actual dive time will be 50 minutes underwater to explore amazing marine life. We will take you back after the dive and transfer your photos and videos.
